Do not use bar directly on skin, as it is quite abrasive. Body bar can be placed in a soap saver OR wrapped in a cloth and rubbed on skin. The body bar will not create a lather, as it is pure Himalayan salt. It will dissolve in water, how long it lasts is dependent on how often you use and how long it stays in water.
