Is your product packaging recyclable?
Yes! Not only can you recycle all our packaging, you can also bring your BBBCo containers and bottles back to receive a 10% discount when purchasing the same item again. We have a program with TerraCycle and will take ALL empty containers, bottles, jars- glass, plastic or tin.
How do you wrap your orders? I don't like plastic.
Neither do we! BUT every order is packaged carefully to avoid leakage in a bio compostable cello bag. We DO NOT purchase any new single use plastic or bubble wrap. Please note also that any wrapping that looks like plastic on our products such as the soaps, is actually fully biodegradable and breathable cellophane made from recycled plant materials that is fully compostable. Orders are wrapped in brown paper or our signature brown cardboard box, which is of course, all fully recyclable.
What is the difference between an essential oil and a fragrance?
An essential oil is a natural yet powerful, concentrated substance that is extracted from certain species of flowers, fruits, grasses, leaves, roots and trees. Not only do essential oils provide a natural scent, they have many therapeutic benefits. A fragrance is a synthetic product. We use a high grade body safe fragrance in our products. We believe in choice- so you have the option of choosing between essential oil or fragrance across a range of our products. If you are looking for a completely natural option- always stick with essential oils or of course our unscented range.
Why does my cream/butter/scrub look different to last time?
The ingredients are natural products, based on oils that are solid at room temperature, softer at higher temperatures and have a melting point above 45-50ºC. The texture and consistency of some of our products will change with the temperature. Butters and scrubs will become harder in cool climates and very soft in warmer climates. This will not affect the nourishing ability of them. All our products are made in small batches by hand, and sometimes ingredients can vary in colour or texture with the seasons.
I am pregnant, can I use your products?
All of our products are handmade using the most natural ingredients possible, ensuring they are safe for all ages and skin types. While pregnant or breastfeeding we recommend doing your own research on whether products containing essential oils or fragrance are right for you.
Can I return a product?
We do not accept returns or offer refunds for change of mind. However, if you have received an incorrect or damaged product, we are happy to offer an exchange.
How can I pay for my order?
Payment methods online include PayPal, Visa, Mastercard and American Express and we also offer Afterpay. In-store is the same as well as EFTPOS.

• Even products that contain all natural ingredients, can cause skin reactions in susceptible individuals, especially if the products contain essential oils.
• If you have sensitive skin, please do a patch test before use.
• If use causes a skin reaction, then discontinue use immediately, and see your doctor or pharmacist if no relief comes from rinsing the affected area in cool water or you are concerned about any side effects you may have whilst using our products.
• We also have recommended ways to use our products for safety as well as hygiene, and to keep water out of your beloved products eg: using a spoon for a Tub of Scrub. This ensures your safety while using the packaging, particularly foil seals that can create sharp edges, and to stop unnecessary water getting into our preservative free products that can cause them to spoil.
