Based on my experience, I would not recommend this product or this store.
I was a regular customer for approximately four years, which makes my experience particularly disappointing.
The ingredients and liquid in the Hemp Face Moisturiser separated and leaked inside my suitcase during a local flight, rendering the product unusable and causing a mess among my belongings. I took the product back to the store to show exactly what had happened and requested a replacement or refund.
I was extremely disappointed by the response. During the discussion, I was asked whether I had added a contaminant to the product. I found this accusation upsetting and inappropriate, particularly as I had brought the product back in good faith to report a problem.
I was also told that the product carried a 12-month warranty. I was not made aware of any warranty when I purchased the product, and I had not seen any in-store signage or information.
What concerned me most was that, rather than feeling my complaint was being listened to and investigated, I left the store feeling as though I was being blamed for the product failure.
I have been a loyal customer for four years and expected a more professional and customer-focused response. In my view, a face moisturiser that separates and leaks during normal handling and transport is not of acceptable quality or fit for its intended purpose.
Unfortunately, both the product experience and the way my complaint was handled have completely undermined my confidence in the store. I will not be purchasing from this business again and cannot recommend it based on my experience.

We are disappointed to read this review and feel it is important to clarify a few points regarding what occurred.
During our conversation, you advised us that the Hemp Face Moisturiser had been opened and in use for well over 12 months. Our packaging clearly states 12 months after opening. You also stated that a moisturiser should “never ever expire”. Unfortunately, that is simply not the case. Skincare products have a recommended period of use after opening, and natural products do not last indefinitely.
It is also unreasonable to suggest that this should have been displayed on in-store signage. Period-after-opening information is provided on individual product packaging, as is standard practice across retail. Stores do not generally display signage explaining the shelf life of every product they sell. Our Hemp Face Moisturiser clearly displays the 12M period-after-opening symbol on its packaging.
Once a product has been open and in use for more than a year, we cannot know how it has been stored, transported, exposed to heat or handled during that time. Separation in an older natural product can occur and asking about the product’s history or whether anything may have come into contact with it was simply part of trying to understand what had happened. It was not an accusation that you had deliberately contaminated it.
We also feel it is important to address the way this matter was handled in our store. Our staff remained polite while explaining our position. Unfortunately, you became rude towards our staff, made remarks about the situation to other customers and ultimately told us that unless we replaced the product, you would leave us a bad review. Being rude to our staff and threatening a bad review does not warrant receiving a new product.
We do not believe it is reasonable to expect a business to replace a natural skincare product free of charge after it has been open and in use for well over 12 months because its consistency has subsequently changed.
We genuinely value our customers and will always take concerns about our products seriously. We have built this business on kindness and would not be where we are today without our amazing and loyal customers. We have made our products by hand with so much love for more than 10 years and take product quality extremely seriously. In that time, we have never had anyone behave or raise a complaint in the way that you have, and we are extremely disappointed that you felt this was the best way to handle the situation.
We stand behind our products and our team and given the age of the opened product and the circumstances presented to us, we stand by our decision not to provide a replacement.

I love the feel of this moisturiser on my face. It leaves my skin feeling so smooth and hydrated. I use it withe overnight serum and the castille and walnut shell cleanser. Hopefully it helps my wrinkles 😜

I love this moisturiser so much!! I have combination skin with a very oily T-section and I’ve always struggled to find a moisturiser that hydrates my skin without making it feel more oily. I now use this moisturiser day and night. My skin feels soft and hydrated but not greasy. The moisturiser is rich but light and a little goes a long way. I’m so impressed!!

I took a gamble on this moisturiser and I’m so glad I did. After two weeks of use my skin feels smooth and hydrated. I have sensitive skin so was worried about potential irritation but this product has a wonderful skin feel that lasts all day.
